Chapter 1 describes a U.S. situation. The university in the United States has studentsupport services for 'First-Generation' as a measure of massification. 'First-Generation’is a student in whom parents have no education beyond high school. They exhibit different college enrollment and persistence behaviors than students whose parents have more education. NCES reported about 'First-Generation's some findings in 1998, 2000, 2002. Those results suggests that, while 'First-Generation' status is an important predictor of success in postsecondary education, rigorous preparation in high school substantially narrows the gap in postsecondary outcomes between 'First-Generation' and students whose parents graduate from college. Chapter 2 reports about 'First-Generation' in Japanese university. The questioner took effect for P university student. The 'First-Generation' student was a little more than 60 percent. More male students than female students are higher ration of 'First-Generation', and they live with a parents' in P prefecture. 'First-Generation' students aren't on the teacher license track. Investigation showed that it could not be said that the 'First-Generation' student is not successful, as NCES reported. 'First-Generation' student in Japan are successful of campus life. Although 'First-Generation' student will ask for actual profit for 4-years institutions, and do not think as important experience which is not directly related to studies, and they graduate without delay. However, we can see the tendency to lead to secession from a university. There are few 'First-Generation' students which understand some words in class than a 'non First-Generation' student. They have considered withdrawal from school and also have the trouble to study.","subitem_description_type":"Other"},{"subitem_description":" In Chapter 3, usual study of Japan in sociology of education was described on educational attainment and socio-economics including family factor or parent's education, but they didn't find the word 'First-Generation' student. We are now faced with university massification. It means that 'First-Generation' student increases as a newcomer. I want to research on 'First-Generation' students in post secondary education in Japan.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_3_full_name_3":{"attribute_name":"著者別名","attribute_value_mlt":[{"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"5673","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}],"names":[{"name":"Kawano, Ginko"}]}]},"item_3_publisher_32":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"山形大学"}]},"item_3_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00242980","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_3_text_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者(ヨミ)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"ヤマガタ ダイガク"}]},"item_3_text_34":{"attribute_name":"別言語の出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"Yamagata University"}]},"item_3_text_43":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ・ローカル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"紀要論文"}]},"item_3_text_44":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ・NII","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"Departmental Bulletin Paper"}]},"item_3_text_45":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ・DCMI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"text"}]},"item_3_text_46":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ・ローカル表示コード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"2"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"河野, 銀子"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2015-08-21"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kiyoued-13-2-033to049.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"64.2 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kiyoued-13-2-033to049.pdf","url":"https://yamagata.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/1678/files/kiyoued-13-2-033to049.pdf"},"version_id":"623b2ae7-5ed3-43bc-b820-7029ba9d53a1"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"大学大衆化時代における‘First-Generation’の位相","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"大学大衆化時代における‘First-Generation’の位相"}]},"item_type_id":"3","owner":"3","path":["58"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2008-01-08"},"publish_date":"2008-01-08","publish_status":"0","recid":"1678","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["大学大衆化時代における‘First-Generation’の位相"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-25T06:58:54.959276+00:00"}
