In seeds of P. odoratum, higher percentages (about 80% or more) of a most early shoot emergence (in about 220 days after the start of incubation) were obtained when the seeds were kept at 20℃ for 105 days after the termination of radicle dormancy and then chilled at 5℃ for 105 days to terminate epicotyl dormancy and then grown at 20 to 30℃.
