Agricultural Science}, month = {Feb}, note = {論文(Article), The control effect of electrolzyed strong acid water spraying on the incidence of powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca fuliginae) on leaves of netted-melon (Cucumis melo L;cv:Arus night natsu No.2 and Andes) grown in a plastic house was investigated for the establishment of the crop disease control system on low-chemical-input agricultural production. In this study, 2 times experiments, summer and autumn were performed. Four times of electrolzyed strong acid water (pH 2.5) spraying were carried out on every week from 8th August (30days after summer planting) to 12th September and from 25th September (30days after autunm planting) to 25th October to the leaves of melon. The electrolzyed acid water spraying could clearly reduce the disease index of occurrence of powdery mildew compared with the distilled water spraying. However, it could not reduce the disease index as like the chemical spraying. Vegetative growth and fruit quality of netted-melon did not change by spraying the electrolzyed strong acid water.
