The details of this changing process in the postwar period until 1998 are discussed in this paper. The main strategy to adopt these external demands were the new technology in the production and the collectivization of sales unit under the agricultural cooperatives. Rut these days, these former successive strategies for growth had run up against a stone wall, and the farmers are required to change their way. In the next paper I arn going to examine about these changing situation in the horticulture in the Shonai district in these days.
