It seems that the combinations of the amplifier and the SCR circuits are applicable over a fairly wide range of the speed control of electric motors. But we still have many problems to develop on the firing circuit form of duodirectional output SCR circuits in the special case that the firing angle is π/2 with no signal. In this paper, the reset mechanism of this magnetic amplifier in the above-mentioned case was investigated, and the duodirectional half-wave output SCR circuit fired by the output of this amplifier was investigated. By the above investigation, the change of the reset magneto-motive force produced by a comniutation phenomenon was excluded.
