 note = {This study explores the present situation and problems of special needs education schools in Yamagata prefecture. A Promotional Plan of Special Needs Education has reported every 5 years since 2008. And special needs education systems in preparation for special needs education schools. Some special needs education schools built an addition to existing buildings because mentally disabled children are increasing at special needs education schools. And there is need for guidance counseling or vocational education for them to become a working member of society and to improve the employment rate. In addition, the children that need medical care are increasing. So more nurses have been hired.
