Engineering}, month = {Feb}, note = {論文(Article), Abstract: This study analyzes Japanese tutors' (JT) and Chinese tutors' (CT) perceptions and behavior in the lnternational Exchange Summer Program 2008 of Yamagata University, using a questionnaire and interviews. The results indicate that both CT and JT deepened their exchange and tried to emulate each other's strengths through interaction. Though CT helped with the communication between JT and Chinese participants(CP) as an interpreter in many cases, JT sometimes filled in the gaps of CT's Japanese knowledge in order to answer CP's questions. CT, JT, CP, each recognized each other's value.
