A compact magic square of order n is a magic square where the four cells of
all 2×2 squares contained within it are summed to 4/n of the magic
constant.
In this paper, we consider two types of compact magic squares of order 4m.
The one is a compact magic square of order 4m divided into m2 parts of
pandiagonal magic squares of order 4, and the other is a compact magic
square of order 4m which has similar property to Franklin's magic square.
