| 内容記述 | Potential benefits of child-animal interactions on children's development have been indicated by parents and teachers. Animal rearing has been carried out as a part of education in most preschools and elementary schools in Japan. This article reviewed the findings of recent empirical research on the effects of animals on children's socio-emotional development and stress reduction.
